Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.
Complete Collection
Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:
- Fractal Terrains 3+
- Dungeon Designer 3
- Urban Planning Software
- Cosmic Mapping System
- Perspectives 3
- Scene Builder
- Character Artist 3
- Fantasy Interior Symbols
- Contemporary Design Pack
- Schley Dungeon Collection

- Campaign Cartographer 3+ (Lifetime License)
- Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
- Tome of Ultimate Mapping
- Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland
- Monster Token Set 1
- Fortress Source Maps
- Source Maps: Cities!
All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
